The transformation
VIPS converted a vacant workshop unit into a purpose-built recording studio. Rather than adapting the existing space, we constructed a new, independent structure within the shell of the unit, isolating the studio acoustically from the building around it.
The fit-out includes two fully soundproofed recording rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. A sealed acoustic environment cannot rely on natural airflow, so the studio runs on a dedicated ventilation system serving every room.
The result is a working commercial studio delivered inside an ordinary industrial unit: self-contained, acoustically isolated and in daily use.
